Steve is a highly trained professional cleaning and restoration specialist and is trusted to care for his client’s soft furnishings. He has spent many years expanding his knowledge.

Steve is proud to be a fully elected member of the National Carpet Cleaners Association. New Dawn carpet & upholstery is also an Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certified company.

What is the IICRC certification?

The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) is a non-profit organization that certifies individuals and firms that have demonstrated expertise and a commitment to ethical business practices in the cleaning and restoration industry. The IICRC also sets standards in the industry and publishes manuals that are used by industry professionals, by government agencies and to help decide law suits.

With each and every certification the entrant must attend many courses at a considerable cost in time and money and then pass rigorous exams, taken at the National Flood School or at the IICRC training facility in Hertfordshire and in the case of the NCCA, Leicestershire.

We are based in Caerleon, South Wales close to the M4 corridor enabling easy access to Bristol, Cardiff, Swansea and surrounding areas. The company has achieved an enviable reputation for excellence of service coupled with an honest and ethical Code of Practice. New Dawn are also employed by a major insurance company, as a certified restoration contractor for their professionalism and expertise, in the cleaning and restoration industry and cover all of Cardiff,Swansea, Newport, South Wales, Hereford and Worcestershire. They have many satisfied clients domestic, professional and commercial, including schools, colleges, GP surgeries, children’s homes, hotels, nurseries, community centres and churches.

 Attended an IICRC Advanced Spot and Stain Course (This is a hands on only school and no exams are taken).

 Steve has also been trained by LTT to re-pigment and dye leather
